As early as the second week of pregnancy, fetal cells migrate to the mother and often target sites of injury, healing us from within. These cells have been found in the mother for decades after giving birth, and possibly for life. They are always a part of us.

The fourth trimester isn’t often recognized or cared for as much as the other three. It is the first 12 weeks after birth and a vital time for the health of mom and baby. It can be incredibly challenging for many as they encounter the single biggest hormone change in the shortest time-span humans ever experience. All while you are left to care for your tiny baby and figure out this new person in your life. Support and nutrition during this time is incredibly important.
