About Fourever

Fourever represents the four trimesters of motherhood and how we are forever transformed by our children.

As early as the second week of pregnancy, fetal cells migrate to the mother and often target sites of injury, healing us from within. These cells have been found in the mother for decades after giving birth, and possibly for life. They are always a part of us.

We take pride in creating memorable ways to cherish that time we spent growing our babies. Whether that is a natural blood based placenta print, or a food safe colorful dyed placenta print, a dehydrated and preserved umbilical cord in a shape you desire, DNA jewelry, digital renderings of your placenta including SVG files for home cricut use, custom onesies, and much more.

The fourth trimester isn’t often cared for as much as the other three. It is the first 12 weeks after birth and a vital time for the health of mom and baby. It can be incredibly difficult for many as they encounter the single biggest hormone change in the shortest time-span humans ever experience. All while you are left to care for your tiny baby and figure out this new person in your life. Support and nutrition during this time is incredibly important.

At Fourever, we truly believe in the benefits of Placentophagy during the postpartum period and beyond. We are passionate about supporting you on your journey and creating lasting memories with art.

About me

Sasha Gaulin

Mom of 4, Artist, Placenta Encapsulator and more

After experiencing postpartum depression and thyroid issues following my first two hospital based births, I looked into learning encapsulation, tincture making, and other DNA arts for myself and enjoyed two incredible home births as well. I enjoy the process so much and thoroughly believe in the benefits, so I decided to help others in their journeys while also incorporating my artistic abilities to offer truly unique services.

After my first home birth, I fell in love with birth work. I thoroughly enjoy helping others on their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. I intend to train to be a Doula in the future, as well as pursue a career in Midwifery once my children are older. For now, I will be focusing on providing placenta encapsulation, tinctures, prints, DNA jewelry, and custom artwork.
